A GREAT STORY FOR TODAY
On March 24, 2018, more than 1 million people came together in Washington, D.C. in a peaceful demonstration march to end gun violence in our schools, our neighborhoods, our country, our world. Many thousands of others marched in solidarity in their own communities. The catalyst for this high school student-initiated movement was the killing of 17 students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Sadly, the killings continue to this day. Nobly, the students continue in their plea for sensible gun control. We applaud the courage and determination of these young people. Know that we stand and march with you. Together we are creating change.
